Trina L. Ridgeway, of Waukegan, IL, Lake County, born on December 6, 1947 to the late Ernest Stittiam and Ollie Stittiam. Trina passed away at the age of 77 on April 17, 2025, unexpectedly.
She graduated from North Chicago High School. She worked at an envelope company for 40 years until she retired in 2009. She was the beloved wife of Philip Ridgeway. She is preceded in death by her son, Lee Ridgeway; and by her brothers Ernest Stittiam II, Derek Stittiam, Keith Stittiam, and Bryant Stittiam. She is survived by her daughters Kenya Ridgeway and Lea Ridgeway-Lewis (Earnest); by her sisters Sharon Hoskins, Raye Ann Rice (Ronnie), and Wendy Stittiam; and by her many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and friends.
She was baptized in 1985. She served Jehovah until her end. She was a quiet and lovely woman. She was a private woman. She was a forgiving person and wonderful mother. We didn’t realize all of her struggles, she always had a positive attitude. She was easy to talk to and down-to-earth. She was a great wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was a kind and simple woman with a big heart.
“Our Memories of Trina (Mom) will forever live in our hearts…”
